Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Visually great but weak plot
Subplot on top of subplot and everyone has a kid now? I cared more about the villain and his arc then Jake and his nonexistent arc. Why was I supposed to care for the son that had no plot besides being the "golden child?" His death was a weak attempt for us to care for him and give his brother a bigger arc even though he as almost all of the plot. The adopted daughter is definitely a setup for the next movie that I wished they cared more for in this one.
Overall meh plot but a fantastic visual. Hopefully the next one will have a better plot, third time is the charm, right? Please James you can do better, I believe in you.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: A Normal Amount of Rage (2022)
Solid Start
Great start to the show. Last scene seemed odd but I hope the next few episodes work on it. The actress is doing a great job juggling the comedy and the drama. CGI seemed to improve since the trailer.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Beats Boggs: Ladies Reboot (2018)
People hate women leads
It's not the greatest episode but it's still a good one. Raising my rating to counteract all the people hating on women lead episodes of the series. Get over yourselves because the cast and creators would hate you for being like this.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Bale's Back
Bale's back must be hurting after carrying this movie. Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor was awesome to see but Bale stole the show with the little screentime he had. The rest was too over the top and tried to recapture what Ragnarok had.
Mid Credit scene makes me eager to see what's next!
Outmatched (2020)
Not too bad
I've seen worse and I've seen better. It is a good watch if you have nothing else to watch. Maggie Lawson and Jason Biggs are pretty good. Like everyone else, the laugh track is terrible. Basically a Nickelodeon children TV show laugh track.
