Westworld (2016)
Is This Now?
The first season of the series was really above the standard, high quality. The development and use of artificial intelligence, a park where people can do whatever they want without suppressing their instincts and primitive emotions, robots completely under human control, and the change of everything step by step. The subject and the way he handled it was very nice.
In the second season, we witness the robots, who try to take control of their life, complete the puzzle in their minds. Although this season of the series did not progress in a certain timeline, this was the best way to convey the current situation. I also liked this season.
Although the third season is a continuation of the story in terms of the progression of the story, it was a bit uninspired and different with the way the subject was handled, frankly. It was nice to see the development of the story and the presentation of events from a wider perspective. But as a result of the criticism about the complexity of the second season, it was as if it was said that we should make a more understandable and action-packed season. Especially the season finale episode was the first signal that the series could lose momentum in the next seasons. I hope I am wrong.
Oz (1997)
Bold, Clear and Fluid
It was the series that best reflected the prison environment with its location, scenario and acting. It was bold, clear and fluid. The only downside for me is the last season... It felt like it was rushed. Luckily they left it without further ado.
Ready Player One (2018)
Are You Ready for The Future?
I watched the movie, wondering about the concept of 'metaverse' that I have heard a lot lately. Not to be missed for those interested, it is a movie that transports you to a metaverse for two hours. I really liked it obviously. I think the movie will become more valuable over time.
As for Steven Spielberg, born in 1943, it is surprising that we come across such an innovative film despite the passing years. It may not have anything to do with age, but the fact that the director of Schindler's List and Ready Player One is the same person increases my respect for the director.
Game of Thrones (2011)
Winter is Here in All It's Cruelty
I haven't started reading the A Song of Ice and Fire book series yet. I am one of those who watched the series first.
When I look at it in general, it is a great production that has had a great impact all over the world. Especially the first five seasons are legendary, every episode was like a movie. According to my readings, the series continued to lose momentum until the last season due to the decrease in the author's influence on the script and other reasons in the following seasons. I can't say anything about the visual effects, acting and music, but I can say that there was a problem with the script of the last three seasons. Especially the last season could have been very different. Of course, this is my personal opinion.
Besides, I would like to talk about the music of the series. Because I still hum from time to time. Ramin Djawadi has done an absolutely brilliant job.
As someone who finished the first five seasons of the series in a week, I definitely recommend the series :) I'm looking forward to the spin-off productions.
The Mandalorian (2019)
The Mandalorian, Best Stepdad Ever :)
I can say that I like the series in general and that it is the Star Wars spin off production with the most compact scenario that has been made recently. I loved the visual effects, the way the characters were handled and of course Baby Yoda. The only negative situation in the series is the complete lack of villains. Especially in the Star war universe, 'Everything exists with its opposite.' thought was clearly visible in the whole series. Even the bad characters were getting ahead of the other characters. I can say that the lack of the main villain in the series is clearly noticeable. Of course, this situation did not prevent the magical atmosphere of the series in my eyes.
The Office (2005)
World's Best Comedy Series
When I watched the first season, the video concept of the series felt very creative. So I decided to watch the second season and I couldn't stop myself :) I'm currently on the 7th season of the series. I watch a little so that it doesn't end :) It's definitely a legendary series with its story, characters and jokes that make you laugh. (I definitely recommend it to those who haven't watched it.)
