See You Yesterday (2019)
They really should have left off where the short film did...
I'm only giving this movie 5 stars because I feel how they handled the story in the short film (2017) this was created from was much better. While this was still good, I felt the main plot point was acted out and scripted better before they changed it for the full-length film, which is kind of a bummer. That's not to discredit the actors though, as the two main characters, C.J. (Eden Duncan-Smith) and Sebastian (Danté Chrichlow), are great in this. All I mean is I wish they would have left off where the short film ended, and gone from there.
With that said, if you haven't seen the short film version, I highly recommend you go watch it.

Much better than the full-length feature
While I did still enjoy the full-length film on Netflix, I had seen this short before and watched it after, and I have to say, this length is the better fit for the story. The way it all unraveled, and the issue the two are trying to resolve by going back in time was handled in a more realistic (as realistic as time travel can be) manner without all the unnecessary distractions in between.
I'll just put it this way: the ending of this short is where I had hoped the Netflix film would continue from.
This was very well done.
