Incredibly funny and entertaining story of four young "criminals" out for big money. This is one of the most intelligently written stories I've ever seen. If you like to write screenplays, let this one take you for a spin. Very fast paced film with great editing techniques and a hilarious cast and storyline thats sure to entertain, as long as you can handle the accents. Great cinematography as well. This story will send you through a cork screw. See it once, then see it again to see what you missed.
American History X (1998)
Very moving story that is sure to make you think.
Great story well directed with a great cast. Edward Norton is excellent in this film. Great character development and story. Heart felt film based on the hate of another man, another race. Questions the idea and motive for hate and the importance of family and the examples we set forth for others in our life. Great editing and story telling through editing.
The Usual Suspects (1995)
Incredible suspense/thriller.
Kevin Spacey is incredible. If you haven't seen this yet and like Spacey, you must see this film. Intense action packed film with a twist. Very cleverly written and directed. Excellent acting and story telling as well as great cinematography. Great mystery where you try to figure out, "who did it?" Follow the police through the clues to try to solve the mystery.
Tombstone (1993)
Exciting story of a heroic man in the midst of many foes.
I loved this movie so much I bought it right after seeing it the first time. The acting is incredible in this film. I'm not a huge Kurt Russell fan, but he played his role very well. Among others, I consider this one of Val Kilmer's best performances. Even if your not a Western fan (like me), you'll still at least enjoy this film. Excellent lighting, cinematography and sound design. Intense pacing and story telling. All the classic elements of good guys and bad guys. Great story development and plot buildup. You have to see it at least once.
M - Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder (1931)
Great examination of society and a heart felt issue which many can not agree on.
Great story with incredible development of ideas and feelings while giving the audience an in-depth perspective for each side to an extremely difficult issue to resolve. Every film lover should take the time to see this film for its ingenious style and execution of ideas. Adds a little comedy in interesting ways to help entertain and engage the audience. Acting is incredibly real and heart felt. Dramatic and tender to fit to any interest.
