What happens when we have too much computer knowledge and not enough smarts?
28 June 2000
A teriffically written action story that keeps us on the edge of our seats. The writter knows his structure and how to use tension by always planting questions that keep us working through out the film. On a side note, watching the film again in the year 2000, is great fun. Watch to see how much we have developed as far as computers, technology and Diet Coke.

A mother - daughter story that is sweet and endearing.
8 May 2000
While watching the film, I'm not sure what direstion it was to take. There's a reason a writer shouldn't direct his work and even act in it as well, you can't do it all. I felt the story really suffered in this film due to the director wearing so many hats. Ms. McTeer is the film. To add to her amazing talents, her portrayal of this woman was why I was engaged. Here is a British actress who can do anything. In my view, conflict is what makes drama and a great story. I felt this film didn't have that. Everything was somewhat easy for the characters, there were no real obstacles preventing the chahracters from getting what they wanted. Watch the film for the sweetness, but most of all for Ms. McTeer's brilliant performance.

Death of a Salesman (2000 TV Movie)

A good Adaptation for television of a remarkable play.

It's hard to get the full effect of how powerful this play is while sitting in one's living room. Death ... is an amazing story that really hits you in the theatre but loses its punch on the smaller screen. The performances are good, and the play speaks for itself however, Ms. Franz is the added bonus of seeing this version.

A story of a boy who is looking for something more.
3 May 2000
This story took too long to start for me to get interested in the boy's situation. There was no action until the car arrives and before then you're so sure it's the doctor's story. Then the film took us on the boy's journey which by that time was too late to keep my interest.

A clear and beautifully illustrated drama one of the stories of Henry VIII. itish History
3 May 2000
One of the most well written and directed films that explain the history behind the Tudors coming to rule England. The film's dialogue is filled with action that keeps the story moving. I was engaged throughout the entire picture. Genevieve Bujold gives an amazing performance. I highly recommend this film.
