Lifestories: Families in Crisis: No Visible Bruises: The Katie Koestner Story (1993)
An Enlightening Piece of Work
This small film made me realize how simple and yet how complicated date rapes can be. I believe that everyone, especially college students should watch this film.
No Visible Bruises is not meant to entertain. It is meant to be informative. However, the film is well acted. Ali Thomas, who plays the role of Katie Koestner, does an extremely well job of portraying the poor woman's nervous and scared state of mind after the rape has been committed. I wish that I can see more of this talented actress in other roles.
I love the ending of the film, before the real Koestner's dialog. The ending works great and sets a mood all its own. That one word Ali Thomas says is just heart-breaking. The ending dialog from the real Katie Koestner is moving and informative also.
You MUST see this film! It is well acted, particularly Ali Thomas' role. The film is also extremely informative. Please, see this movie...
