Just like all the B Movies
22 July 2002
This movie was awful and very stupid. It was the same kind of movie like all the B rated movies we have all seen. There were a few comedy lines, but that was all that me and some friends got a kick out of it. Dont waist your money watching it.

Lloyd (2001)
10/10
The Ugly Kid
9 May 2001
Director Hector Barron's first big break in film. He has been making movies since he was a kid and now he finaly got it out. Being a kid in heart is what made the break through for this film. The movie Lloyd (aka The Ugly Kid) is about a young boy who is treated badly by school bullies and all. He is called names and he does not like it at all. He makes him feel like he is realy a cricket and an ugly kid. He befriends Troy, a classmate from school. Lloyd also falls in love with Tracy but Storm the bully steals her away from him. Magic is Lloyd's favorite thing in the world. He also has help from the magic toy shop owner who is played by Tom Arnold. Ted Negron is one of his teachers and Mary Mara plays his mother. Lloyd goes through life as all of us went through life. There is a way that Lloyd defends himself and all ugly kids or undefeated ones like Lloyd was. This film was wonderful. I hope to see many more films directed and written by Hector Barron.

Wonderfully Portrayed
27 February 2001
I really enjoyed watching the miniseries of Me & My Shadows. I was not even born yet when we had one of the greatests singer and actress of all time. From the footage I have seen of the real Judy Garland, I think this movie was well portrayed and performed from all the actors and actresses in this miniseries. Judy Davis just looked like who she was supposed to be acting as. I also think they did a remarkable job on getting the children who portrayed them. A well done Liza from almost the begining to the end. Credit goes to everyone who was a part of the miniseries. One of my favorite miniseries I have seen. I also like to say, sharing a birthday with the acclaimed Judy Garland is a wonderful memory.

Heart Warming Story
22 April 2000
I was able to catch the sneak preview on "Where the Heart Is". This is a film where Natalie Portman does great acting in a lead role. I love her other films she has been in. She is a wonderful talented actress and hope to see more of her in the future. The film was wonderful and the actors/actresses were wonderfully portrayed. Thumbs up to everyone including Ashley Judd's character with the funny lines.

A Wonderful Told True Story
13 April 2000
I saw this movie and thought that it was portrayed in good taste. The movie "Selena" brought the late singer more life in who she was. Not many people knew who the real life singer was until her tragic death. It is sad to see/hear/read about that but the family of Selena had the courage of bringing her life in film. I am proud of the people who were involved in the film credits. I now know the life of Selena, who I really did not know much of before. I hope that people should learn that guns are not the answer to lose someones loved ones.

Childhood Memories
18 March 2000
"My Dog Skip" was wonderfully told. All the characters were wonderfully portrayed. I have seen Frankie Muniz on his latest show "Malcolm on the Middle". He is a great kid to watch these days. Its nice to see Diane Lane and Kevin Bacon as parents and also on the screen together. I am satisfied that "My Dog Skip" made it on the Top 5 List, since its first debut. Even when I did not see the trailer until after I saw the movie, its doing great in theaters.

Better Than The First One
7 December 1999
Toy Story 2 is way better than the first one. Even if I do have the first Toy Story on VHS, Toy Story 2 is funnier. I was laughing so much I thought I lost my voice at the end of the movie. I recommend the movie to to be seen by everyone. Young or old it doesn't matter who you are. You have to see it!

Wonderfully explained
23 November 1999
I enjoyed this movie better than the one that was out in theaters a few months after CBS aired it. Both actresses were wonderfully acted, but there was more detail in the miniseries. In The Messenger it made Joan of Arc more crazy and it had very long parts.

The Making of Joan of Arc Going Nuts
23 November 1999
The acting is great but the story makes Joan of Arc really crazy. I really enjoy Milla Jovovich's acting, singing and modeling career. Dustin Hoffman makes a scary dude in a black robe. What is up with the big foreheads on the women who were big hats? I think I enjoyed the mini series on CBS a little better then the one on the big screen. I think it made it like a big joke on the big screen. The story line made it go nuts. Which movie to believe?

All the hype and no umph
14 August 1999
I saw the movie and wasnt too satisfied with it. All the media that said it was up to be and it didnt scare me. My friend just got dizzy. For all the fighting and the cussing I thought it was one of those trips that "The Real World" (series) has.

Wow!
22 May 1999
This movie is wonderfully made with special effects, great acting and great writing. I so far, have seen it once. All the actors and actresses are great. Natalie Portman playing two parts was wonderful.

> Jar Jar Binks was so funny I almost fell out of my seat. The effects were made outstanding as usual. Thanks to George Lucas and the rest of the cast and crew for the hard work. I was very satisfied with the whole movie.

Learning a lot about life, love the past and the future
22 May 1999
Hard decision to think about life, love past and future. Hard choices to make either to marry or not marry. Talking it out helps a lot. Once again Natalie Portman steals the scenes. Smart young girl who acts older than her age. Makes everyone love her more. The movie has real good lines to live and learn from it. Really hits it in the heart and the brain. Decisions, decisions: Oh, what to do.

Another Great Movie
22 May 1999
I am not much into action movies but this one is my favorite of all time. First film of super young actress Natalie Portman. Wonderfully acted and talented as a child who becomes orphaned and befriends a hitman. The Cleaner is a good guy, kills only bad men "no women, no children". Has some funny bits and sad bits in the movie. I enjoyed where she always got the two kicked out of the hotels/motels. The part where they both act like movie stars and singers. Portman did a great Madonna and Ms. Monroe. Great movie director. Love all his latest movies he has made.

What happens when you make a bet
18 May 1999
Laney and Zach are two different people. Laney a geek that people hate. Zach a guy that people think he can be god. Zach who gets pushed into a bet with a lousy friend. In order to make Laney prom queen. He learns more about her and same for she. This is a pretty good movie about high school relationships and stuff like that. I have always enjoyed Cook's acting in previous movies. It's the first I have seen Freddie. Not bad at all. Pretty funny. Also enjoyed seeing Anna and Kierian in the movie.

ditzy, funny, trippy, young love kind of movie
21 April 1999
Twenty-five year old Josie learns that she becomes a high school girl again when she hides as a student reporting for her real job in life is. It is her big break and she learns the good times and bad times. What is really neat about this movie is that they go back in time when she was in high school. Being a geek and treated very wrong. Even when she is under cover she first gets treated bad for a few times but most of it was her fault by being ditzy anyway. It really was funny for that though. Trippy enough when people turn to her for advice and finally getting popular. Falling in love with a teacher who really is about her true age and having a young male fall in love with her who isn't her age. So who will kiss her? Watch it and find out when and how.

Merlin (1998)
Merlin is power
3 March 1999
The mini series was put well in structure. The setting and the art direction was wonderfully put. Make-up and costumes were made is a real way. Effects were great. The acting was ok, but this was another movie where one characters voice was dubbed. I wonder why they did it on the young Nimue? Reminds me of the dubbing on "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan".

It's not magic it's the love
3 March 1999
I think the story and all the characters put together made "Ever After" a touching movie. The settings, art direction and the styles of the costumes were so real and felt magical. Loved the wings on Drew. I enjoy reading and watching fairytales of the past or future.

True Women (1997)
Texas Women Power
3 March 1999
Janice Woods Windle who wrote the book about her family history did a great job of putting it on a tv mini series. All the actresses as in Delany, Gish, Jolie, Majorino and Cook were greatly acted in the movie. Stuggling the life of being women and life of the battle of love and war. Now that's good History.

Hilariously funny
3 March 1999
Eddie Murphy doing his thing in making us all laugh. I love the way he portrays almost each person in the Klump family. Watching the credits of the movie was great in all the blooping and bleeping out. Sherman Klump did need to find love for himself and not as Buddy Love. Jada Pinkett was wonderful as always. Can't wait for the next Nutty Professor.

Wonderful
2 March 1999
The Other Sister was made in a wonderful way to learn about life of young love for the disabled or not. At first the trailer made me want to see the movie as soon as it opened at the movie theaters. I was not sure why the title was called "The Other Sister" until I read a review. I loved how all the characters meant to one another. The comedy and the tear-jerking made me understand how it is in life. The acting is performed greatly and I hope it will be mentioned in the year 2000 award nominations and winners.
