Caterpillar Wish (2006)

Surprisingly Good but cinematography let it down

I'm over in Sydney on business and I popped in to see what was on in the local cinema. All the films that were on i'd seen, and the only thing I hadn't was Caterpillar Wish. I kinda groaned a little when I realised it was an Oz picture, I went in almost expecting a not great film. A "We have to show something home grown because the government says so" type film. BUT I was amazingly surprised! It was so much better than I expected. Oz really does have talent! The actors were pretty good, the only thing I felt that let it down a little was the cinematography. Things could have been a little tighter, I think the crash sequence (without giving anything away) could have been done more effectively, in my eyes it just didn't work.

Good fun! go see! :)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)

A mystic magical adventure not to be missed!

Before I entered the cinema I was a little worried that the book may have been picked up and messed around with by the Hollywood machine and the film pushed out the end, But to my amazement they have kept almost the same. Several little bits were missing, like the absence of the poltergeist which I thought may have been quite fun. But a mystic magical adventure not to be missed!

The Borrowers (1997)

A great fun Family Film

This is a great family film which I highly recommend. The story is based on a family of borrowers which are small people living in a normal sized house somewhere in the depths of the English countryside. A good fun family film.
