The Idolmaker (1980)
Great Rock n' Roll Starmaker flick!
This is one of those movies that has it all. Great (true) story, great plot, good acting. Ray Sharkey should have gotten a nomination for Best Actor. If you like music business, teen idol success stories, this is the definitive motion picture.
Seems Like Old Times (1980)
Two Words: Charles Grodin
I have liked Charles Grodin in other films, but in this film his stumbling character is classic. Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase turn in their usual fine comedic performances. But to me, this is Grodin's film!
Barefoot in the Park (1967)
Delightful Romantic Comedy
Jane Fonda and Robert Redford in their prime. Great comedy. Supporting cast is also excellent, especially Mildred Natwick. The musical soundtrack by Neil Hefti is perfect for this light comedy. This is a true American Classic Comedy.
This Property Is Condemned (1966)
Natalie Wood at her best!
This is one of my favorite Natalie Wood films. From watching her as Alva, you can understand what made her such a great actress. Throw in Robert Redford and a great musical score and this is one powerful movie.
