Raise the Titanic (1980)
My agreement with Gislef
I love Clive Cussler's novels. He writes incredibly wonderful stories, and I have read nearly all of them. This movie was a joke. Cussler's novels could be made into blockbuster movies, and this one was pathetic and probably ruined what could be a huge franchise. The entire cast was inappropriate (maybe...Steven Seagal...) and I was really disappointed. The fact that the movie did not follow the novel probably had a lot to do with why it sucked so bad. If anyone takes the time to make a Clive Cussler movie again (which would be nice) I would hope that they would spend enough time and money to make it the hit that it could be.
Basements (1987)
A major waste of time
I had to watch this movie for a college drama course, and the parts that I actually bothered to stay awake for were not worth it. The movie, which is based on a short drama, is just as bad on television as it is if you read it. There is no point to the entire story and I would rather bang my head against a wall for an hour than take the time to sit through it.
