Unbreakable (2000)
Truly Awful
I went into the theater excited to see this new film. When all was said and done.....I wondered how a film this bad could be made. Can someone please explain to me the story here? Did I miss something that others see? I was left with an emptiness inside. What is the point of making a film that has no story to follow? I have seen pornos that have better plots. I am glad that someone else paid for me, because I would have demanded my money back had I paid. Everyone involved in this film should be ashamed and embarrassed.
Hideous Kinky (1998)
What is this about?
I loved the scenery, I loved the soundtrack...but where is the story? I sat through this entire film, the whole time wondering what it was about. I've never really come across a film that made me have to try so hard to find its plot. I have read reviews, plot summaries, etc., in hopes of getting answers...They didnt help, though they couldnt have even if they wanted to. This film has no purpose except to show off the gorgeous Morrocan countryside. Thats all it has to offer.

Jane Austen's Mafia! (1998)
The worst movie I have ever seen
This is the worst movie I have ever seen. I did not laugh once during the entire movie....and I usually enjoy spoofs. Ugh...terrible movie. Please, dont anybody watch this film. If there were a way i could vote lower than 1 i would do it in a heartbeat. THE WORST MOVIE EVER.
The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns (1999)
Worth watching once.....to laugh at it
This is not a good film. The story follows romeo and juliet basically scene for scene.....with the capulets and montagues replaced by the leprechauns and fairies. you all know the story. the graphics are just plain horrid. and every time something is superimposed it is quite obvious. The only reason i rate this a 2 instead of a 1 is the fact that it is so bad it makes you laugh at it....every bad graphic, every obvious parallel to r&j become hilarious......dont watch this movie unless you are all wasted and want a bad film to make fun of.
Deep Blue Sea (1999)
special effects galore and a man named LL
I saw a screening of this film and had pretty low expectations, just hoping that it would not turn into some Jaws ripoff. Turns out that this was a decent movie, and not much of a Jaws rip off at all. I was jumping out of my seat throughout the whole movie, even when it was obvious what was coming up. Yes, the film does contain your classic horror 'don't go in there' situations, but handles those moments without boring the audience. The dialogue is pretty poor, but the special effects were very well done. Thrown into the mix was a nice performance from LL Cool J as a religious cook that loves his pet parrot, and a great ending to a monologue by Samuel L. Jackson(if you've seen the movie, you know what i mean). When I go to a horror I want a good scare and some laughs.....this gave me both.

Two Girls and a Guy (1997)
A great movie, but would be better on stage.
When I first saw Two Girls and A Guy, I thought to myself that something was wrong. The storyline impressed me, but the feeling that I got was that it would flow much better in the theater. The script through the whole movie seemed much more like a play, and not a film at all. After I noticed this, I began to watch the movie as if it were on stage, and it made it so much more meaningful, and the acting performances much stronger. If Robert Downey Jr. performed this role on stage, the audience would walk away with something really special. He is what makes the viewer forget that they are watching a film. He is outstanding in this role.
