Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990)
EXCELLENT!!!
Two friends must deliver a car from coast to coast, but as they pass through the great southern state of Texas, things begin to get a little out of the ordinary. First, they are lured off the main highway to a deserted Texas road. And then here, they are stalked by the menacing Leatherface and his deranged family. Their only chance of escape, is a survivalist with enough fire power to blast Leatherface and the rest of the grizzly predators to hell. An excellent piece, definitely worth watching!!!
The Return of Swamp Thing (1989)
Good
Swamp Thing returns to save Arcane's daughter, Abby (Locklear), from his evil wrath, along with his new batch of vicious mutant predators. All in all, it was a good film with great special effects!
Phantasm IV: Oblivion (1998)
Disappointing
I have been a loyal fan of the "Phantasm" series, and couldn't wait for the latest installment to come out. Thinking it was going to be better than the original, I have now seen it -- and must say it was disappointing. It started off excellent, right where part 3 had left off, then took a bizarre twist leaving more questions for us about the TALL MAN's origin, still unanswered.
The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1994)
Not bad
Kim Henkel, who co-wrote the original Chainsaw, returns to bring you this remake/sequel to the popular cult series -- having two couples on prom night, getting stranded in the woods, and being hunted by the sadistic Vilmer (McConaughey) along with his demented brother Leatherface, and the rest of the chainsaw clan. Seemed quite good until towards the end, where tons of weird plot twists begin to turn, along with a suprising lack of chainsaw action.
Neighbors (1981)
Pretty Good!
Earl Keese (Belushi) is a slightly overweight, fairly average guy who is approaching middle age. He leads a reasonably comfortable life with his family in their suburban home ... until the house next door is bought by Vic (Aykroyd) and Ramona (Cathy Moriarty), who quickly drive Earl crazy! Vic's lunatic behavior has Earl running in circles while Ramona's coarse seductiveness leaves him panting. In short, Earl's tranquil life is suddenly turned upside down.Be sure to see this wickedly funny film.If it's the laughs you want, these are the neighbors to look in on!
1941 (1979)
Terrible!!!
This is Steven Spielberg's first ever BIG film, but was it any good ? Wrong! This terrible film is about Japan fighting back at the USA, only to destroy Hollywood thinking it's America's most treasured possession. No laughs whatsoever. Though the film is typically DUMB, it's worth a watch.
