The Wide World of Mystery: Distant Early Warning (1975)
I want it on DVD.
I liked it when I saw it many years ago and I hope it comes out on DVD. I remember it as dark and at the time scary for a little kid, but after the years have gone by it seems less scary but no less a cool movie. I at one time had the idea it was a twilight zone or one of that kind of show. I have not seen this movie played in this area in a long time we used to have Doctor Paul Berer as a host of a horror type show but that was many years ago, I think that was the place that had the movie on. I can not believe that there is no tape of this even, I mean with all the bad stuff that has been put out on DVD one would think this would get a chance. Oh well take my word for it. If you get a chance see the movie.
Cotton Candy (1978)
They just dont make them like this anymore.
I loved this movie the first time I saw it, just great chemistry between the actors. A feel good movie for when you need a pick me up. I just wished it was on DVD. Ron and his brother just seem to click and Charles Martin Smith is just a great actor, I just dont know why they never made another one like this.
The Flying Saucer Mystery (1952)
Waste of time
I wish I had not gotten this film, sounds like a good subject but the film falls short and is just a trailer of many U.F.O films. I had a hard time finding the film and when I did find it I overpaid. There are many good U.F.O films but sadly this is not one.
Beyond the Time Barrier (1960)
Talk, Talk , Talk
Not enough action, too much talk and very bad plot, I liked the dated subject but I cant buy the story, just don' t buy into it and if the plot is not there then the rest of the movie just is a waste of time. How the plane gets into the time barrier just seems hard to take.
Quatermass and the Pit (1967)
Good sci-fi as it should be made
I think this is a great sci-fi film, saw it in 72 and since then many times, love the plot. If you love old time sci-fi then I think you will love this. The best of the series films.
