- Since 1978, the Young Artist Academy(TM) hosts Hollywood's oldest youth awards show. Affectionately called the "Youth Oscars" by Huffington Post, the Academy has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood over the last 40 years, and is the only youth awards to be structured the same as major Hollywood guilds. Complete with Academy membership and peer voting, members experience the same process as major award guilds, and receive the advantage and experience of participating in Hollywood's adult counterpart awards associations when eligible. For 40 years, the Academy has recognized exceptional talent in entertainers from ages 5-18, and continues to offer exclusive industry connections, networking, press training, protection education, academy references, and publicity opportunities for young artists on the rise.
The annual Young Artist Academy(TM) Awards Show gathers professionals and talent from across the Entertainment Industry. Television Networks, Production Houses, Casting Agents, and International Press annually celebrate together at the Awards Show and discover fresh new filmmakers, support the young stars of top shows and films, and explore new realms of storytelling with up-and-coming international Talent. With film at the core of the Awards, the Academy created new categories to support all storytellers and art forms, including; dance, music, and social influencers.
The 40th anniversary year, the Academy partnered with GenZ Social Summit to prepare and protect the next generations of storytellers.
