Molly Davison : Dear Jose. You are my life; you are my heart; you are my everything. I hate my parents and I hate my life and if I can't be with you then I don't want to live. I'm so sorry. I'll love you forever. Molly.
Aaron Wallace : Do you recognize those words? Are those the words you wrote to Jose the day you overdosed?
Molly Davison : This isn't the note, but yes these are the words.
Dez O'Reilly : Objection your honor. She is only here to establish the veracity of this particular piece of evidence.
Judge Julie Tanaka : Overruled. Continue.
Aaron Wallace : Those are the words. Where is the original version of that note?
Molly Davison : My parents destroyed it the day I went to the hospital.
Aaron Wallace : And why would they do that Molly?
Molly Davison : Because they didn't want anyone reading what I wrote. They didn't want me to get arrested for buying drugs.
Aaron Wallace : But you testified six years ago that Jose was the one who bought the oxy?
Molly Davison : I lied. Jose never wanted to get them for me and he never did. If he knew I had them he would have taken them away. They made me lie about everything. But I'm so sorry Jose.
[whispered]
Molly Davison : I am so sorry.
Aaron Wallace : No further questions.
