I wish I could thank the writers for producing a happily satisfying season. Great acting, props were ok, decent camera work blah blah but its the writing I really enjoyed: I love the plot device of just skipping ahead (ostensibly "to the good bit") ha made me feel clever and respected, like my time's being valued. It's just a plot device (like a button push) but it gave me confidence that the writers weren't scrabbling for ideas in the middle of season 4; there's somewhere they cant wait to get to!
And then they delivered with good action, even sidelined the protagonist for a bit, gave us well paced and moreish episodes. That dad character (can't be arsed googling his name) I feel is too pretty in evrrything he does but he was fine casting. Tricia Helfer still a great bad guy and that other actor from battlestar galactica made an excellent colnel. Cant wait to watch season 5: hurry the hell up guys!
