I live in Norfolk, Va, USA, so I get to see many of these shows from all over our country. I also have many family members and friends who are doctors, nurses and paramedics. Something about the NSW ambulance paramedics AND call takers just won me over. I know how hard life is and I appreciate everything they do. Watched the first two seasons on Prime Video and am anxious for the next season. Again, I thoroughly enjoyed this program and my husband watched some with me too and liked it. So amazed by the courage and kindness of all who put their lives in the service of caring for others.

It's got everything

Personally I love the program. It has enough drama to keep it interesting without being overdramatised and almost fake feeling (and personally I love the music they choose, really adds suspense and sometimes humour..!). The program is also super informative putting a real emphasis on the CPR explanations etc. Lastly, the paramedics, DOMs, call takers, and dispatchers that appear on the show are all great characters with a good sense of humour but also very in touch and caring with patients. It's really inspiring to see the amazing work they do.

Excessive noise throughout the program

This program could be informative and. interestng, however the loud music played throughout the entire program is distracting and makes it extremely difficult to hear, and I think the valuable information is lost by the extra noise.
I have difficulty trying to determine the purpose of the music, it certainly does not add to the flow of the program.
Unfortunately I have had to tune out of the program because of the excessive load music. Several friend have mentioned th same problem..
Without the noise over riding the dialogue I would have given a rating of 10.
