If the '90s had the surprise hit "Dragon Ball Z," the '00s had "Naruto," and the 2010s had "Attack on Titan," then the 2020s unequivocally belong to "Demon Slayer." The first film, "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train," overcame Hayao Miyazaki's classic "Spirited Away" to become the highest-grossing Japanese film ever in Japan and the highest-grossing film of 2020 worldwide.
Even its subsequent movies, which are literally just compilations of previously-released season finales plus the first episode of the following season, have made some serious cash, leading us to dub the latest movie, "To the Hashira Training," as a savior of cinema at a time when the box office desperately needed help. The announcement of Solo Leveling season 1 was a viral news piece. Fans waited almost a year for the anime to arrive. Since Studio A1 Pictures, whose previous productions include Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online, and Mashle, had taken over the series, the hype doubled in size pretty soon.
Alas, season 1 of Solo Leveling received mixed reviews from its audience. While it had some plus points, like the mind-blowing fight scenes, it also suffered from pacing issues and changes from the source material.
So when anime’s producer, Sota Furuhashi, hinted at an attempt to rectify the mistakes of the past, you bet fans saw it as a complete win.

Bleach is one of the Big Three of anime. Even though it did not reach the same popularity as Naruto and One Piece, it still played a crucial role in changing the course of the manga and anime industry for the better. Bleach revolves around Ichigo Kurosaki, who met a female shinigami, Rukia Kuchiki, and later became a substitute shinigami.
Tite Kubo did a great job with his magnum opus, but the fans always felt that the ending was rushed and could have been explored more. While most fans thought it was due to Shueisha forcing Kubo to wrap up the manga in a limited time, it was actually the mangaka who wanted the manga to end. The Thousand Year Blood War arc suffered a rushed ending.

The job of a voice actor, particularly in the anime world, is not easy. They have to go through every emotion and portray it exactly like the characters in the series. This was experienced by Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado in one of the most popular anime and manga series, Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer Mugen Train
Hanae has voiced a lot of characters in the anime industry, like Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyu!!, Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, Gremmy Thoumeaux in Bleach, etc. But he has earned the most recognition because of his portrayal of Tanjiro, as it is probably his best performance as of yet.

One of the main reasons why Demon Slayer became such a big phenomenon among anime and manga fans was the series’ ability to impact the emotional chords of the viewers. While the animations, the characters, and the storyline are great, the main element that helped the series achieve success was its heartfelt moment.
Demon Slayer Mugen Train
Since the first episode was released in 2019, the series has been an emotional rollercoaster ride. Many fans believe that the most emotional part of the entire series was from the Mugen Train arc, which was developed into a movie called Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba—The Movie: Mugen Train. The movie was such a big success that it was the highest-grossing film of 2020.
In an interview, the voice actor of Tanjiro, Natsuki Hanae revealed his first reaction after watching the final animation of the movie and what he thought of the first Demon Slayer movie as a whole.

A voice actor’s job can be pretty tough. This was proved to us by Aleks Le, the voice actor for Sung Jinwoo from Solo Leveling and Zenitsu from Demon Slayer. A few days ago, he shared a video where he revealed that the role of Sung Jinwoo put so much strain on his voice that he coughed up blood while voicing a fight scene.

Although the character of Sung Jinwoo is normally calm and logical, he sometimes gets enraged and violent while fighting strong enemies or opponents during his dungeon battles. This leads to him screaming and shouting, thus indirectly affecting the voice actor. However, that is not the case for all characters.
As mentioned before, Le also portrays the role of Zenitsu Agatsuma in Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer. During an interview last year, the voice actor shared his experience working for one of...

Demon Slayer has been grabbing everyone’s attention through its fascinating animation. There has been no slowing down from Koyoharu Gotouge’s magnum opus. As the seasons progressed, the animation got better, and its popularity also increased. Ufotable did a great job with the animation, and fans are expecting more from them in the next season, which will take it one step toward the end.
While Ufotable has revolutionized the Japanese animation industry, Mappa seems to have done the opposite. The Mappa controversy was a massive issue in late 2023. With such problems, the animation should pay attention to what Demon Slayer producer had to say regarding the condition of animators.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has been one of the biggest crowd-attractors in recent times, and deservingly so. Studio Ufotable’s unbelievable animation, paired with Koyoharu Gotouge’s gripping tale of struggle, has proved to be the golden combination for blockbusters.
Yuma Takahashi has produced the Demon Slayer anime and worked with it since the first season was produced in 2019. In an interview with Anime News Network, the producer opened up about the anime’s creation process and Koyoharu Gotouge’s role in it.
Tanjiro in Demon Slayer season 3 Was Koyoharu Gotouge Deeply Involved in the Animation Process of Demon Slayer?
According to the interview, Koyoharu Gotouge looked over the scenarios, character designs as well as settings of the Demon Slayer anime. They were intimately involved with the anime creation process. However, the writer also had immense trust in Ufotable, and rather than constantly nitpicking about changes, they just adhered to providing useful advice.

Studio Pierrot, the production studio behind the hit anime series “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations,” is reportedly contemplating a significant change in the show’s format. In a recent interview, the president of Studio Pierrot hinted at the possibility of transitioning “Boruto” into a seasonal series.
While no official confirmation has been made regarding this shift, the president’s remarks suggest a strong interest in experimenting with a new format inspired by the success of other seasonal anime like “Demon Slayer.”
