Again, it's good that the show and the characters are all moving in the same direction as more and more people are added to the in-crowd.There's only so much information you can drip feed though: Kyle and Alex's investigation barely advances a pace here. Meanwhile, the bisexual alien love triangle between Maria, Michael and Alex seems to have limited scope.
There are a few good character moments as quasi-couples Isobel/Noah, Alex/Michael and Max/Jenna unpick the secrets that have existed between them. And there's some drama with an attack on the hospital which ties back to earlier events.The episode also attempts to sort out some of the massive inconsistencies in Isobel's character, not entirely successfully.
And then, just as Liz has made a deduction that's been obvious for about five episodes and we think we know what's going on, that last scene turns it all on its head...
