Episode two of Season 5 was a great episode

I have to admit with other viewers what in the hell?! Is going on with The Affair?

But l have to realise that it is a challenge to put a great script, cast and visuals to get the show you require for good viewing for many series.

I actually adored this episode covering Janelle Wilson side of the story.

Without revealing the content these people nailed the writing in her own story - it felt honestly real life imitating art or visa versa.

This show I loved for 4 seasons. It seems as though it should have ended with Allison's death . They are running out of story ! Uggg

This show is offensive to me now. They took a premise, killed it yet continued it for one more season of....THIS? I don't know where to begin. They use loss as a means to keep their convoluted stories together. The perspectives of the characters are so blurred now, you forget who's story it is. I will watch this to the bitter end, but man...rough start.

Suddenly everyone is on the show now? Helen's husband just died. She can say whatever she wants to Janelle. Janelle needs to get over it. But again, why are they showing us her point of view? I don't care about her! What happened to this show?

Absolutely loved all the series but the jurt is out on this one at the moment. I can't quite get to grips that all the cast don't look as though they have aged (and the kids haven't) but Joanie is all grown up and looks as though she is late twenties (ish). Am I missing something?

I have loved this show for the first 4 sessions. The last season.... Love it also except for the futuristic jonie crap. Like ......I am so disappointed. They completely ruined this season by doing that.
