Officially ruined the series
docblkadr19 February 2023
It was stupid enough to have a hit series and kill off one of the main characters because the actor was accused of something that hadn't been proven, then more stupid to substitute a ridiculously annoying actor to play an annoying character as a replacement, but then to put in a moronic, out-of-place anti-gun message because that's the current thing? Do you even know who watched the show and made it a hit? (Then again you probably lost that audience a long time ago.) I'll give you a hint: it's not people who think that there are no uses for a rifle in a truck on a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere, driven by a man who may have to contend with wolves or mountain lions attacking him, his cows, or his dog.

Way to heavy messaging
morgan-j-billings26 January 2020
This episode was pretty bad with an anti gun messaging that was as subtle as a brick to the face. For a sitcom episode the writers were way to blunt and uneducated about the topic they were trying to push in this episode.

Worst episode yet

I like this show but the anti gun message in this episode was pointless. Had nothing to do with anything. Writers made a lame attempt to make there stance on guns known. I'll finish out the series but hopefully this is the end of the leftist propaganda.

Use to like Maggie, but WTF

Warning: Spoilers
After watching this episode there is no way anyone would believe beau stayed married to that commie D-bag for 40 years. She use to be a fun character but now just a leftist prop pusher. No wonder this show came to an end. You (the new writers) killed it.

This show used to be great.

After Part 6 (as labeled on Netflix) this show took a major downward spiral that for many people I know convinced them to stop watching it. This episode was the nail in the coffin for me. This show used to be a comedy that was funny, that while yes it did play on political and other themes did not sit there and rub your face in them. This episode is on giant anti-gun pile of feces. The only laughter comes from the prerecorded voices in the background. I am done with this show and will not recommend it any longer. It appears main stream Hollywood killed another good show.

Too Preachy
kwgriessel13 April 2020
The show has turned to trash shortly after Rooster was killed off. Too much preaching about gun ownership.

First they ruined Mary, now Maggie

Did the writers of this show get hit on the head?

Why are they determined to ruin all their characters.

Maggie is a strong independent women who is 100% pro gun. Why would they suddenly make her a snowflake.

And what the hell is with the Luke's killer reveal. It should have been Rooster. Let the guy come back for the final few episodes.

Wow, just wow.

So many MAGAt snowflakes have their panties in a bunch over this episode. That means they did a good job. Maggie had a change of heart, people do. And stop whing about Rooster. I thought he was good too but, it turns out that he was guilty and is now doing hard time. Luke's not the perfect addition but they needed someone to stand in Rooster's spot. And I agree with the rifle in the truck on a ranch. But where did Nick get his gun? He was a felon, out of prison. Beau did see Maggie's point later but we are going to have this gun argument for a long time until it's made harder to get guns, especially "assault" rifles. FYI, I'm a legal gun owner with a concealed carry permit and I still think it's too easy to get guns.
