Maybe, Pierpaolo Spollon is not the best Michelangelo. But the portrait of their meeting is just admirable. It is an episode remanding the series as sketch. A simple and honest one. Reminding Ken Marshall in Marco Polo ( 1982 ), Aidan Turner gives the fair portrait of his character, in the precise nuances. A pledge for art, maybe too supperficial for a mini series, Leonardo reminds values and vulnerabilities more than the fundamental traits of a biography.
