Jimmy and his father-in-law finally coming together was long past due. Hate it that Ducky is leaving but have been expecting he. He will definitely be missed. Do hope he visits. One of the best episodes in a long time but if Ellie and DiNozzo had have had that one glance that showed that both knew the other knew about Tony and Ziva, I would have given it a 10. I can picture both of them giving each other a last minute nod to seal the fact. Opportunity for that one great moment was missed.

The whole idea of this story is stupid. Not only would Palmer lose his job, he would lose his medical license and go to jail. His father-in law would lose his company, his license and go to jail. A better way to get rid of the body would be for the father-in-law to cremate the body. This is totally out of character for Palmer, he would not betray Gibbs or Duckie.

Should the show keep bringing back Robert Wagner considering everything that has come out in recent years? Without Tony on the show it doesn't feel necessary.
This wasn't a bad episode, but it would have been better had it not been Jimmy at the heart of the story.

Holy crap, if this isn't a jump the shark episode, idk what is! The writing was terrible, the acting was wooden, this seemed like a bad Hallmark after school special! Absolute garbage if an episode! The writers have clearly exhausted their creative talents! It's time for either new blood on the writing staff, and more enthusiasm from the actors, or for series cancellation!
Pretty average one.

When it comes to "Bears and Cubs" , it started off very promising with Jimmy's father-in law asking Jimmy to tamper the evidence of a murder investigation, but the case got quite boring after that. I am also one of the those people, who does not see why Tony's father (played by a perfectly fine actor Robert Wagner) needs to be involved with more murders after Dinozzo himself left NCIS. It just does not seem necessary to have the Dinozzo Senior on the show to me.
Overall, an okay episode.
