My first ever IMDB review!

I'm on episode 8. High Fidelity is one of my favorite books, one of my favorite movies...so I decided I needed to give the series a fair shake. I still can't make up my mind about whether or not I like it, so I haven't given the series a review yet. But, I wanted to review this episode in particular, because I loved that they turn the camera to Simon in this episode. I actually really like Simon the character, and I like to finally see some variance from the movie, instead of the shot for shot, line for line retakes they've littered the series with so far. It gives me some hope they can turn this into an actual series.

I don't want leave any spoilers, but for die-hard original fans, who might be in that same camp as I am-the one where you can't figure out if this series pisses you off or if it is actually worth its salt, give the whole series a run, and especially this episode.

I loved this episode. It flipped the POV to Simon and we get to learn more about his life. Simon's room in a shared apartment looks a lot more realistic than Rob's swanky place. I thought it was cool the plot with his boyfriend was setup in the previous episode. I think High Fidelity can run for a few seasons if they invest in Simon & Cherise as well as Rob for stories.
