Deathmaker, had me on the edge of my seat, nail biting, thrilling, gripping, I thought it really was exceptional.
Considering these stories are written, a year to eighteen months in advance, you have to hand it to the writers for being relevant. If I'm honest I was perhaps a little surprised that this wasn't delayed following the Londonderry explosion last week, but the decision was made to show it.
A truly gripping story, one that obviously has a personal impact on Jack, good to see Richard Durden return to the role of his father.
The acting was top notch, I was particularly impressed by Ray Fearon, he played a hugely charismatic Detective, but overall this one belonged to David Caves, great to see Jack getting a big story line.
Last week the show took us down the gory route, with a slightly complex story, this week we're in darker territory, much easier to follow then the last few, but very dark material.
Captivating. 10/10
