Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A few sad scenes near the film's end. The scene where Michael reveals he's HIV positive, and in which Jonathan expresses his grief in the song "Why" can be very emotional. Jonathan Larson's untimely death is mentioned by the film's narrator's toward the end, as it leads to the final song performed in the film, it can be quite emotional.
