The film's closing simulated crane shot was achieved by having Danny Muller crouch on top of the director's Pinto wagon and slowly rise to a standing position as the camera pulled out.
A classmate in the film production course at U.C. Santa Cruz, where this film was produced, was cinematographer Amy Vincent.
This film was edited (and presented in class) utilizing an accompanying score entirely drawn from the soundtrack of Chinatown (1974), composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
