The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has just hit (via Toonado.com), and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).
With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.
In terms of cameos, the trailer ends with another Batman: The Animated Series tease. Batman Beyond also appears, but perhaps the biggest surprise comes when we return to the world of the Super Friends!

Disney’s “Launchpad,” the anthology series of American independent short films will return for its third season. Submissions for the new season are now open through June 2.
“Launchpad” first started in 2021, and is a 12-month program that cultivates emerging filmmakers. Members in the program work closely with Disney creative executives to make live-action shorts to possibly premiere on Disney+. Filmmakers will also be mentored and have the opportunity to engage in a training program that teaches collaboration.
“‘Launchpad’ gave me the opportunity to really stretch myself as a director—working on stunts and collaborating with Industrial Light and Magic (Ilm) on my visual effects is something I could have only dreamed of doing before,” said Erica Eng, director of “The Ghost.” “The program works hard to set us up for success even after the program has ended, and I’m really thankful for their support as a filmmaker.”
Season 2 of “Launchpad” was released on Sept.

Lempicka is officially open on Broadway and there was a Wicked reunion on opening night!
Eden Espinosa received support from fellow Wicked alum Shoshana Bean at the opening night performance of her new musical on Sunday (April 14) at the Longacre Theatre in New York City.
For those who don’t know, Eden and Shoshana both got their big breaks as the standby for Elphaba during Idina Menzel‘s run in Wicked on Broadway. Both of them later became full-time Elphaba stars and had long runs in the beloved musical.
Eden is now leading the ambitious new show Lempicka, one of the only fully original musicals of the season. She was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Amber Iman, Beth Leavel, Andrew Samonsky, George Abud, Natalie Joy Johnson, Nathaniel Stampley, and Zoe Glick.
Also in attendance was Andrew‘s wife Kate Reinders, best known for starring in the Disney+ series...

Despite her incredible success as a musician, Olivia Rodrigo confirmed she hasn’t lost her desire to act. Speaking to Variety on the red carpet at the Governors Awards in Hollywood last night, the singer said she “would love” to appear onscreen again soon.
“I love movies, I love telling stories,” Rodrigo said. “I really want to do a coming-of-age thing maybe before I’m actually of age. Maybe I am of age already.” She added, “I just love telling stories, whether that be in a song or movie, that...

The “Vampire” singer tells me she’d love to star in a film. “I love movies, I love telling stories,” Rodrigo said at the Academy’s Governors Awards on Tuesday night in Hollywood. “I really want to do a coming-of-age thing maybe before I’m actually of age. Maybe I am of age already.”
Rodrigo turns 21 on Feb. 20.
“I just love telling stories, whether that be in a song or movie, that’s really something that really excites me,” she said.
Rodrigo’s acting credits includes TV’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” “Bizaardvark” and an episode of “New Girl.”
She attended the Governors Awards in support of “Can’t Catch Me Now,” her single from “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” soundtrack. The song has been shortlisted for the Oscars.

After a cold open poking fun at Congress’ bonkers antisemitism hearing and Adam Driver delivering a piano-driven serenade during his monologue that took shots at Tesla Cybertruck buyers, Saturday Night Live musical guest Olivia Rodrigo flexed her own piano (and vocal) skills with a twinkling-the-ivories rendition of her hit single “vampire.”
The Rolling Stone cover star exhibited her delicate-yet-powerful vocals during the slow-burning piano-serenade version of the tune:

Blumhouse and Lionsgate have unveiled the trailer for the upcoming horror film “Imaginary,” set for a March 8 release.
Directed by Jeff Wadlow, “Imaginary” stars DeWanda Wise as Jessica, a woman returning to live in her childhood home with her family. Once moved in, her stepdaughter Alice becomes infatuated with Chauncey, a stuffed bear found in the basement. As Jessica grows concerned about the sinister connection between Alice and Chauncey, she realizes Chauncey might be more than just a bear.
Keri Moore, Lionsgate’s co-president of theatrical marketing, told Variety of the film’s premise: “Something you see across cultures is that children have a unique access to the spirit world. What if their imaginary friends are something from the spirit world? What if these imaginary friends were real, and what if when you left one of them, that made them upset?”

“The Walking Dead” actor Tom Payne and Broadway veteran Betty Buckley have joined the cast of Blumhouse’s next movie “Imaginary,” a horror-thriller led by DeWanda Wise.
Taegen Burns (“The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers”), Pyper Braun (“Desperation Road”), Matthew Sato (“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”) and Veronica Falcón (“Jungle Cruise”) will round out the cast.
Lionsgate is releasing the film on March 8, 2024. It wrapped production before the writers’ and actors’ strikes — so it will arrive in theaters as planned, unlike several projects that were forced to pause for months on end.
“Imaginary” was directed by Jeff Wadlow from a script he co-wrote with Greg Erb and Jason Oremland. The story centers on Jessica (Wise), who moves back into her childhood home with her family. When her stepdaughter Alice (Braun) develops a concerning attachment to the stuffed bear, Chauncey, she finds in the basement, Jessica becomes concerned with the young girl’s behavior.

Olivia Rodrigo may be this generation's breakup-anthem queen, but she doesn't kiss and tell. Like her music idol Taylor Swift, Rodrigo often finds solace in channeling heartbreak into lyrics, and the "Traitor" singer isn't afraid to get exceptionally raw and honest in her songs - but her music is where she draws the line. Rodrigo has never confirmed any of her rumored relationships, including her highly speculated romance with "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" costar Joshua Bassett.
In her "Vampire" single, which was released on June 30, Rodrigo once again poured her heart out about a destructive relationship. Though she hasn't provided any hints about who the song might be about, fans have already begun to speculate that it might be inspired by her rumored ex, Zack Bia, due to one key lyric: "Six months of torture you sold as some forbidden paradise." Rodrigo and Bia reportedly dated for...

Ah, the old fake dating trope. A classic rom-com staple that's been around since, well, probably Shakespearean times, the idea of two people pretending to be in love is nothing new. Yet the upcoming film "Anyone But You" aims to breathe new life into an old premise with the help of "Euphoria" star Sydney Sweeney and "Top Gun: Maverick" breakout Glen Powell. The pair will presumably play the Benedick and Beatrice-like roles in the loose adaptation of the Bard's "Much Ado About Nothing," as their characters -- old enemies from college -- end up faking a relationship when invited to a destination wedding that'll be attended by both their exes (per Entertainment Weekly).
This is the kind of classic romance novel-type setup that could easily go wrong, but with two talented, popular, and versatile stars in the lead roles, it could also go very right. Sweeney and Powell have noted...

Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell showcase their much-discussed chemistry in the first trailer for Sony Pictures’ romantic comedy “Anyone but You,” premiering in theaters on Dec. 22.
Directed by Will Gluck (“Easy A”), “Anyone but You” has been touted as a loose modernization of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.” The film’s official logline reads, “When college arch-nemeses reunite years after graduation for a destination wedding, they pretend to be a couple for their own personal reasons. But through pretending, they actually fall in love.”
“Let’s just tell everyone we’re together,” Sweeney says to Powell while they take a sunset sailboat ride. “There’s no way we could convince anyone we actually like each other,” he responds. Though the two roll their eyes, footage flashing throughout the trailer makes it clear their chemistry is undeniable.

The 20-year-old singer was moved by the child’s sweet advice.
Olivia Rodrigo got some adorable dating advice from a little boy, and it’s damn good dating advice!
The 20-year-old singer recently appeared on the “Recess Therapy” show and she straight-up asked a little boy named Miles for dating advice, and Miles did not disappoint.
“How do you think that I find love in my life,” the songstress asked, prompting Miles to respond with, “Pick a person that looks kind.”
The most adorable part came right after, when Miles put his tiny hand on Rodrigo’s knee before telling her, “I really hope you find love.”
Rodrigo was visibly moved by the kind gesture, but Miles wasn’t done yet. He had her and host Julian Shapiro-Barnum cracking up when Miles also shared, “The only person you can’t marry is your cousins.”

Olivia Rodrigo is well-known for writing songs that lead to rumors. A lot of her entire first album, "Sour," was rumored to be about her "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" costar Joshua Bassett, but Rodrigo and Bassett have never actually confirmed or denied whether that's true. Now, Rodrigo's sophomore album "Guts" is here, and fans once again think she's targeting a star in some of her lyrics. This time, though, that celeb is none other than Taylor Swift.
When asked about the alleged feud, though, Rodrigo denied the rumors to Rolling Stone in a Sept. 12 feature, telling the outlet that "I don't have beef with anyone." She did, however, admit that she was "caught off guard" by having to retroactively give Swift and other artists songwriting credits on some of the songs on "Sour." Olivia Rodrigo is opening up about the pressure she felt after dropping Sour in 2021, the debut album that brought her stardom as well as a license to “make mistakes,” which she says was evident in the people she chose to date.

Midway through shooting Season 4 of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” creator Tim Federle told Disney he was turning in the final script for the Disney+ musical comedy.
He recalled telling Disney+ executives, “You’re going to get to the end [of 408], and it’s going to feel like I’ve wrapped the series. And that’s on purpose,” Federle told TheWrap.
“We mutually decided in this streaming era, when so few shows even go beyond two seasons, that we might as well go out on top with a complete story rather than ending on a cliffhanger,” Federle explained. “I’m really grateful that we got to end on our terms.”
Thus marks the end of one of the most ambitious shows ever brought to streaming. “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” which dropped its final season on Wednesday, premiered in 2019 as one of Disney+’s flagship series. The...

Who is mean enough to kill Hollywood Nice Guy Paul Rudd? That’s the question that drives the third season of “Only Murders in the Building,” Hulu’s critically acclaimed comedy starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez as a trio of unlikely friends who live in the same New York City apartment building and come together to solve the surprisingly high number of murders that occur within it.
The show, created by Martin and John Hoffman, returned this week with two episodes, just in time for the start of Emmy voting. In addition to Rudd as Ben Glenroy, a Hollywood actor murdered on opening night of his Broadway debut, new additions to the already impressive cast include Meryl Streep, who portrays a struggling actress; Jesse Williams, a filmmaker who is making a documentary about Ben when he dies; and Ashley Park, a hopeful young actress and social media influencer.

This week, the final season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series premiered on Disney+.
Unfortunately, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens didn't join their co-stars from the original movies to make a cameo on the spinoff.
But that doesn't mean we didn't get any indication about where Troy and Gabriella's relationship is in 2023.
Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson, Alyson Reed, and Kaycee Stroh returned to play themselves.
The group also resurrected their High School Musical roles as Chad Danforth, Taylor McKessie, Ryan Evans, Coach Jack Bolton, Ms. Darbus, and Martha Cox, respectively.
The returning faces popped up at East High to shoot High School Musical 4.
There were hopes that Efron and Hudgens would make surprise appearances for at least one scene, but it didn't happen.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens may not have made cameos in the final season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, but the Disney+ mockumentary still gave us an update about their characters’ relationship status — whether we wanted to hear it or not.
Here’s the extremely meta plot of the show’s final season, for context: Several members of the original High School Musical cast — Corbin Bleu (aka Chad), Monique Coleman (Taylor), Kaycee Stroh (Martha), Alyson Reed (Miss Darbus), Bart Johnson (Coach Bolton) and Lucas Grabeel (Ryan) — come to East High to film High School Musical 4, reuniting fans...

Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers for the fourth and final season of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” now streaming on Disney+.
The Wildcats of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” have taken their final bow.
The Disney+ extension of the popular movie musical trilogy concluded this week with an eight-episode fourth season that found its cast performing a stage — or rather, basketball court — production of 2008’s “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” Members of that film’s original cast returned to East High to shoot the fictional “High School Musical 4: The Reunion.”
Although the original films have had a presence since the pilot episode — the series is set at the high school where the films were shot — the final season is the show’s most meta endeavor yet.
“I think that’s one reason we wrapped up the show, or why I wanted to wrap up the show,...

She’s seated next to co-star Joshua Bassett (Ricky), who nods in sentimental agreement as Wylie explains how moving on from the series feels. “It’s just a mixture of emotions. Like anything when it’s ending, any chapter of your life — especially if you’ve loved that chapter — it’s hard to close it,” she goes on. “But it’s also really exciting to see what will come next. And I just cannot wait for ...
