Nora : I don't share, I don't think cheese should be in cake and I don't celebrate.

Nora : I'm just kidding, except about the cheesecake, that is a weird texture.
Christy : So how long have you been sober?

Nora : 28 years.

Christy : Wow, were you in kindergarten?

Nora : High school. I died from a heroin overdose when I was 16, it was under a minute, but it got my attention.

Christy : That happened to my mom twice, her solution was to steal a defibrillator.
Nora : I'm going to need you to go to at least 5 meetings a week.

Christy : Wow, okay.

Nora : And you need to call me once every day.

Christy : Wow, there's a lot of rules.

Nora : Oh we're just getting started. You can call me any time except at night, that's my family time.

Christy : Me too, that's when I'm gonna need you the most.

Nora : If you call me after 8 P.M. and it's not an emergency, you are coming over to watch Puppy Dog Pals with my kids.

Christy : ...Okay.
Nora : When are you going out with him again?

Christy : I don't know that I am, there weren't any sparks.

Nora : That's good, because when a recovering alcoholic sees sparks, it's the beginning of a dumpster fire.
