Thoroughly enjoyed this
It's so rare to find any films about black lgbtq+ folk in britain, let alone ones about our history in the 70s and 80s.
Just a really important historical and cultural documentary, shedding light on what it was like to come out as gay, bi and trans in 1970s London, where these young people met each other, what the history was of queer creatives at the time, and most importantly what it was like to be both queer and black then.
The documentary had a lot of charm, the subjects were lovely people, and it clearly created with great style and quality.
I was lucky enough to catch a screening of this short film at an event Opening Doors London had hosted, and a good number of the cast were there to answer questions from the audience afterwards.
