My love for this game cannot be described with words. It's too large to even be described by words. I recommend everyone with a Switch to play this.

I'm in love with this game, ALL IN IT IS GORGEOUS except it's graphics and performance and maybe that is time consuming with a lot of content
So technically is a review on progress because I have 2 more routes to complete. This game is a masterpiece.

This isn't your traditional FE. It is an anime, dating sim, story driven grid based strategy. So if chess, anime and dating float your boat, it's a no brainer.
I find it impossible going back to older FE games after playing this.
My number 1 favourite game of 30 years has been knocked off my top spot by this.
It just works and the OST is first class.
Word of warning. Turn off American VA. It ruins the enjoyment of the game. Still playable but less enjoyable.

One of my favorite switch games.

This was my first fire emblem game and let me just say, it met and exceeded every expectation that I had going into it. I feel like it gets a bad reputation here in the west and is labeled as a weeb dating sim, which I have to say is not true at all. You don't really do any dating, yeah you can marry but it's really just tacked on at the end and is used to decide where your character ends up in the end. What fire emblem three houses really is is a war drama with huge stakes about how different ideals clash and how corruption and war can bring about sorrow. You really grow connected to all of the characters in the game and the secon half is one of the most emotional punches that a game has ever thrown at me. And to top it all off the gameplay is fun and it's never too repetitive because of the class systems. My only complaint would be that some of the missions around the mine start can feel a bit tedious.
