When Peter and Chris are trying to maneuver Peter and the couch out of the master bedroom, the dialogue exchanged between the two of them is taken word for word from Family Guy's Season 6 premiere episode, and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) parody, Blue Harvest (2007), where Peter (as Han Solo) and Chris (as Luke Skywalker) are trying to maneuver a couch out of the trash compactor door in the Death Star.
The title refers to the Judy Blume novel, and now movie, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. (2023).
God says to Peter "I spent the first seven days creating things and after that, nothing but killing, killing, killing." However, according to Genesis, God 'actually' spent the first six days creating and rested on the seventh day, known as the Sabbath. Although as he didn't do any killing in the seventh day, this can be technically excused
After listing the players for Saturday Night Live (1975), God says he can't name any of the Kids in the Hall. However he had just listed Mark McKinney who was a member of both groups. Although this can be technically excused as he wouldn't have known that he was in kids in the hall, having clearly never seen it.
