Equalizer 2000: Interview with Frederick Bailey (2015)
*** (out of 4)
Screenwriter Frederick Bailey is on hand to discuss his film EQUALIZER 2000, the Roger Corman cheapie that was made in 1987. Bailey starts off talking about how he was supposed to have another credit on the picture but that he never ended up getting it. From here he talks about his screenplay, what influenced it as well as various things that happened during the production. This sixteen-minute interview was certainly entertaining as Bailey tells some very good stories about the production as well as some changes that were made to his original screenplay. He tells some nice stories about the director as well as what it was like doing these types of low-budget movies. There's nothing ground-breaking here but fans of the movie should enjoy it.
