Marlon Wayon's comedy is gold here. He is everything I enjoy about him. He calls out racist sterotypes with out being offensive in comparison to the deplorable late night 'comedy'. Wish him the best in continuing success.

Hilarious show...

I found this on Netflix, but I must admit that I had little expectations to it. Why? Well, because I can't claim to be much of a fan of Marlon Wayans from his movie track record. But still, I decided to give this a go, as it is a stand-up comedy show.
And color me impressed. I must admit that this was actually a blast to watch, and Marlon Wayans was rather funny on stage. It was a very funny show, and he felt naturally at home on the stage doing stand-up comedy.
I enjoyed his particular sense of humor and I was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire show.
His jokes are varied and deals with different topics, which I found to be good. Especially since a bunch of stand-up comedians tend to stick to below-the-belt jokes which become repetitive and annoying rather quickly.
If you haven't already seen "Marlon Wayans: Woke-ish", then I can definitely recommend that you do so, because it definitely put Marlon Wayans in a new light for me.

Laughs laughs laughs. Marlon makes you laugh after almost every joke from his first stand up. There are some serious topics he covers yet he somehow makes you laugh about it because of his silly ways of explaining and acting them out. Sexual orientation, black history, and family. There are even references from some of his movies which fit so well into his act. It's great. If you like Marlon you will like his stand up.
His facial expressions and overall stature are half of the comedy that he brings to this special.
I wasn't sure how it would be because some of his movies seem to fall flat. But I was not disappointed with this hilarious special that keeps you laughing until the end.

It's Marlon Wayans. You know what you get.
If you like him, you'll most likely love this.
He's on point and over the top in a way that makes you laugh so hard you feel your lungs are about to pop.
He has excellent variation and none of the bits feels too long, and I hope he makes more specials like this, cuz he is truly hilarious.
Disappointed

I think I will stick to Mr. Chappell. That man is smart. So is Chris Rock.
In my book crude can be fun. This is just gross. He seems to know what its like to have an uncut !#$* in this face.
Saying O. J. and President Obama are both wins is offensive.

Grew up here in NZ watching In Living Color and then later with the movies. Haven't seen any of Marlon's Stand Up before, but I have been watching a load of Stand Up this past year. So, when I give a rating its based on what a person brings to the table based on their own personal experiences, because thats what speaks to me as real comedy.
Marlon's Woke-sih did that. He didn't try to be over political as a lot are doing now, but he left me feeling happy at the end despite the topics and even felt educated with some of the themes.
Which brings me to the ratings. I wonder if people are just using ratings like Fanboys are doing in with the comic industry, and that is trying to dictate what others should be reading, in this case watching.
If are an immature person who wants to give fake ratings based on the fact that you didn't like one piece of item or topic than I think you should watch and review only the things and people you like. Otherwise its just nitpicking and dictating and you know where the word dictating comes from.
So, for everyone who wants a laugh and just enjoy themselves, give this one a go.
Meh...

Warning: Spoilers
This is the first time i heard of Marlon Wayans, but i will make sure to remember his name so i can avoid watching his work in the future.
The first few minutes were actually quite ok, but it didnt take long till i he got into the typical cliches eeeeevery stand-up on netflix seems to talk about these days. The word niqqer, bad rap music, trump, obama, bla...
At the same time he actually manages to copy pretty much every contemporary comedian on the stage today and especially rips of Chris Rock several times.
A weak show for people who can laugh just about anything.

Not necessary to have a potty mouth to be funny

3/16/18. I like Marlon Wayans and have caught most of his movies so I thought I would catch his stand-up. I would have given him 6 stars if he used cleaner language. Totally unnecessary to have a potty mouth to be funny. The last third of the 66 minutes was pretty good.
