In the abandoned room full of long-recalled merchandise, Amy finds years-old (possibly decades-old) boxes of a discontinued snack cake called "Sugar Logs" that don't expire until 2023 (the episode aired in 2018). This is based on the urban legend that real-world snack cakes, such as Twinkies, have a near-infinite shelf life. In reality, such snack cakes are only good for about 6 months.
Amy tells Jonah that if he wants to see how Barbarian's Gate is played she can put it in the demo unit and show him really quick. Since at least the mid-00s, video games have required a lengthy installation period, and often require patches from the developer to be installed before they are able to be played. This process usually takes 15-20 minutes if no patches are required, and can sometimes take hours, so Amy would not be able to show Jonah anything "real quick" about a newly released game.
The "Barbarian's Gate 3" games are all shown packaged in black DVD cases. No current-generation system in 2018 used DVD packaging. All had either switched to Blu-Ray style packaging (Playstation and X-Box), which is shorter, slimmer, and more colorful than DVD, or used even smaller, unique packaging (Nintendo).
Mateo describes Erick as a, "middle-aged guy in Crocs." Erick is clearly seen wearing black and white tennis shoes, not Crocs.
