Quotes
-
John Diggle : Son of a bitch!
Supergirl : Is that any way to greet your friends?
John Diggle : All I know is that whenever the three of you show up, it usually means we have one huge problem
-
John Diggle : So... you're you.
Curtis Holt : And you're you.
John Diggle : An immortal Egyptian, aliens, parallel earth Nazis... I have no idea why I'm even surprised at this point.
Curtis Holt : I'm still trying to figure out if this is more like "Freaky Friday" or "Quantum Leap."
Barry Allen : No. If this were like "Quantum Leap," I'd only look like myself in the mirror.
Curtis Holt : Yep. You're definitely not Oliver Queen.
-
John Diggle : This thing isn't gonna be permanent, is it?
Oliver Queen , Barry Allen : I hope not.
Barry Allen : Jinx.
-
Caitlin Snow : Those lightning strikes, they were a Flash from another dimension trying to breach to us.
Cisco Ramon : We think it was Jay Garrick. Or... a Jay Garrick. He said to fix the situation, we have to "get the book."
Kara Danvers : John Deegan was reading a book in the drawing Oliver drew.
Oliver Queen : Okay. So we find the book in there, or we find Deegan and we make him tell us where it is.
Barry Allen : Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. A-Another Flash from a parallel universe just lightnings in, tells us to jump, and we ask "How high"?
John Diggle : If we wanna sort this thing out, then yes.
Oliver Queen : I have no idea how we're gonna break into a mental asylum.
Kara Danvers : I have some ideas.
-
John Diggle : Kane Wolfman, you're under arrest for 19 violations of international law!
Kane Wolfman : Really? Does that include the murder of...
[counts the agents]
Kane Wolfman : ... four A.R.G.U.S. field agents?
-
Curtis Holt : I know this sounds nuts and completely unscientific, but I think that freaking lightning is following us.
John Diggle : Focus, Curtis.
Curtis Holt : This is me focusing. These atmospheric anomalies are playing all kinds of hell on my equipment. Plus, you don't want that lightning to hit when you're engaging Deathstroke's son.
[the agents are knocked back by a lightning strike; as the smoke settles, Kane Wolfman stands before them]
Curtis Holt : I just had to say it.
-
Supergirl : We think that the red skies and these lightning strikes have to be related to whatever happened to Barry and Oliver somehow.
Oliver Queen : We need you to solve the "somehow" while we're in Gotham.
Curtis Holt : No problem. I mean, A.R.G.U.S. has all the best analytic toys, but what we really need is a pattern recognition algorithm, and unfortunately, Felicity isn't...
Oliver Queen : I called Felicity.
John Diggle : Wait, wait. You called Felicity?
Oliver Queen : Yeah.
John Diggle : Okay. Right. Well, I guess that makes sense because technically, you are her husband. I'm confused.
-
John Diggle : So, why didn't you tell Felicity?
Barry Allen : Well, because we tried to tell everybody at S.T.A.R. Labs, and it didn't really go over so well.
Oliver Queen : Felicity and I have enough problems as it is without introducing body swapping.
-
Cisco Ramon : We've been getting the same red skies and freaky lightning in Central City, and I'll tell you this much:
[laughing]
Cisco Ramon : It wasn't Speed Force.
Felicity Smoak : Wait, wait, hold up. "We've been"? "Wasn't"? As in past tense?
Caitlin Snow : Interestingly, the atmospheric phenomenon ceased the moment Barry and Oliver left Central City.
Cisco Ramon : It's like it packed up its bags and followed them here. That's why we came.
Caitlin Snow : The phenomenon has to be related to Barry and Oliver's...
John Diggle : [shushing her] Caitlin. Caitlin, just...
Caitlin Snow : ...body swap?
Curtis Holt : [under his breath] Don't... don't say it.
Felicity Smoak : I'm sorry, body... body what?
Cisco Ramon : [to Dig] You, uh... you didn't tell her?
Felicity Smoak : Again, tell me what?
-
Oliver Queen : John Deegan.
Dr. John Deegan : Oliver Queen! Ha ha!
[pantomiming shooting an arrow]
Dr. John Deegan : Whew. It's a genuine pleasure to meet you, sir.
John Diggle : He knows who you really are.
Dr. John Deegan : Gentlemen, I was thinking, "Why did I not become the Flash?". And it seems changing reality itself, it's got a bit of a learning curve. So, yeah. This actually explains a lot.
Oliver Queen : You did this to us? You can undo it.
Dr. John Deegan : That is true, but I think the question is, um... why would I want to?
[he presses a button on his desk, and an alarm blares; he escapes while Oliver and Dig are distracted]
John Diggle : What the hell did he just do?
Oliver Queen : He bought himself some time.
-
John Diggle : Hey, what the hell is this?
Felicity Smoak : Yeah, no offense, but you need, like, five PhDs for the dumbed-down version.
John Diggle : How about the very dumbed-down version?
Felicity Smoak : The quantum flux anchor, that utilizes wave theory to fire nanoparticulates across an Einstein-Rosen Bridge to create a secure claxon field.
John Diggle : How about the very, very dumbed-down version?
Caitlin Snow : Felicity made a magnet that will draw whoever's trying to breach through to us.
John Diggle : You could have just said that.
-
Caitlin Snow : What's happening?
Kara Danvers : [getting into superhero mode] Trouble.
John Diggle : [leaving Deegan's office] The crazy bastard let all the other crazy bastards out of their cages.
-
Caitlin Snow : So, how does a book make people change bodies?
Elseworlds Flash : Deegan said he was using the book to change reality.
Cisco Ramon : Same question. How does a book change reality?
Elseworlds Green Arrow : We'll figure that out when we get back to Star City.
John Diggle : Yeah, 'cause we're gonna need some help with this lock.
Batwoman : Good. Then you'll be leaving Gotham. You guys have caused enough problems for one night.
Elseworlds Green Arrow : Hey, would hitching a ride in the Batmobile be out of the question?
Batwoman : Get. Out.
-
Barry Allen : Jay?
The Flash : No.
Barry Allen : Oh, my God. Dad?
The Flash : My name is Barry Allen. Hello, John.
John Diggle : Do... do I know you?
The Flash : You're not wearing your ring. Things must be different here.
Oliver Queen : Barry, where's there?
The Flash : My Earth, Earth-90. I have traveled from there to warn you.
Barry Allen : Warn us about what?
The Flash : His name is Mar Novu, but he calls himself the Monitor now. He's been unleashing the Book of Destiny across the multiverse to test different Earths.
Barry Allen : Test them for what?
The Flash : A crisis that he believes is coming. Novu thinks the Elseworlds created by the Book of Destiny approximates the collision of realities that we're facing.
-
John Diggle : You know, Felicity, there's something very strange going on here, so I wouldn't take this as a commentary on you and Oliver's marriage.
Felicity Smoak : Oh, my marriage with Oliver is strained by the fact that we've become different people. Quite literally, in Oliver's case.
-
Caitlin Snow : You didn't tell her?
Curtis Holt : Oliver, the actual Oliver, thought he had enough problems with Felicity already.
Cisco Ramon : Oh, and you didn't think to loop us in on the fact that you were keeping the "Freaky Friday" situation on the hush?
Curtis Holt : I was thinking it was more like "Quantum Leap".
Cisco Ramon : Well, if this were like "Quantum Leap", they'd only look like themselves when they see themselves in the mirror, so...
Curtis Holt : [talking over each other] Well, it depends on what type of "Quantum Leap" you're talking about. There's a sequel.
John Diggle : [breaking the argument up] Shouldn't we concentrate on where this lightning came from?
-
Felicity Smoak : Oh, look who finally came back.
Curtis Holt : With what looks like a fairly infamous book.
Caitlin Snow : A book with a cryptographic lock on it.
Oliver Queen : Can you get to work on opening it, please?
John Diggle : We don't have a lot of time.
Felicity Smoak : Okay. Geek squad, form up on me.
