Princess Diana and then-Prince Charles tied the knot more than four decades ago in what was described as a fairy tale wedding. However, their marriage didn’t mirror a storybook about princes and princesses who live happily ever after.
When Diana found out that her husband was still seeing his mistress, formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles, the princess tried turning to others for help. She wrote letters to her husband’s father, Prince Philip, and eventually went to Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth II, for guidance. But as a royal expert has revealed, the queen really “dreaded” those conversations with her daughter-in-law.

Twenty-six years after Princess Diana‘s death, a royal commentator says six additional hours of revealing interview tapes have been found. These tapes are reportedly part of a collection of interviews the late Princess of Wales gave to biographer Andrew Morton. Her interviews ultimately became part of the book Diana: Her True Story, an unfiltered look at Diana’s life within the royal family.

When he was known as the “playboy prince,” King Charles III had several methods of romancing his female suitors. For years as the royal family‘s most eligible bachelor, Charles romanced many women. He used one preferred method to keep love alive between the king and his first wife, Princess Diana, and later, Camilla Parker Bowles, who would become Charles’s second spouse.

Princess Diana‘s introduction to the press in 1980 was dominated by headlines calling her “Shy Di.” The former Lady Diana Spencer was only 19 years old when she was thrust into the media spotlight as then-Prince Charles’ girlfriend. However, Queen Elizabeth’s former press secretary had a different view of the soon-to-be Princess of Wales. He claimed there was “nothing shy about her.”

We’ve learned Wright’s currently unnamed production house will focus on developing and producing factual series and documentaries.
The company launches with a slate such as Channel 5’s upcoming space doc series Tim Peake: Secrets of Our Universe — the Paramount-owned network’s latest attempt to push into high-end factual with well-known talent.
It’ll sit within Omg, which also houses 141 Productions, Betty, Canard, Objective Fiction, Omg Scotland, Purple, Tannadice Pictures, Triple Brew Media and L.A.-based Omg America.
Wright was among the staff whose roles were impacted by Paramount Global’s decision to close the unscripted wing of Viacom International Studios (Vis) UK. That came as it switched international production focus to high-end scripted, as we exclusively revealed last month.

The fourth season of The Crown detailed the first encounter between Prince Charles and the young Diana Spencer, played by Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin respectively, whose ill-fated marriage became one of the most picked apart tabloid news engines of the 20th Century. Joe Utichi meets Corrin and O’Connor to learn more.
Emma Corrin is Diana Spencer
In hindsight, Emma Corrin has an idea about why she failed her audition to attend drama school. She had been invited to audition for Rada—one of the world’s most prestigious dramatic academies—and she was keen to impress. So, she chose a monologue from John Logan’s Peter and Alice, which had first been staged by Michael Grandage in 2013 with Judi Dench and Ben Whishaw. The play tells the story of Alice Liddell, the young girl that inspired Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, meeting with Peter Llewelyn Davies,...

We all remember Princess Diana as a major style icon, but what's not always evident in the glam pictures of her is just how tall she actually was - 5'10" to be exact. In fact, she was quite statuesque, which was a plus for making a major impression but a negative when it came to one of her most beloved hobbies.
As an adult, Diana stood 5'10", which is generally taller than the majority of women. More frustrating for her: her height prevented her from continuing on with her love for dance. In general, elite female dancers are not tall, and children who grow too tall often are left behind or self-select out as the opportunities shrink going forward.
Diana's height was the main reason that restricted her from pursuing her lifelong passion for dance. As a child, she took ballet classes and fell in love with the art. At one point,...

Ah, December. A time for sipping hot beverages, retail therapy, and gathering the family around the television. This holiday season, Netflix will add blockbuster comedies new and old to its collection, as well as some more artistic fare fresh from festival circuit. Next month on the streaming platform, home viewers can catch the comedic stylings of Chris Pratt in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” in case they missed it in theaters. If you prefer something a little darker, the Wachowskis’ dystopian epic “V for Vendetta” will also be available.

Image Source: Getty / Tim Graham In honor of the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's tragic death, many documentaries probing into her life, legacy, and untimely passing have been airing across the globe. One of them, NatGeo's Diana: In Her Own Words, aims to tell the princess's story from a different side: her own. The film is the only recent Diana documentary that is narrated entirely by the princess herself, using the taped conversations that would go on to be published in the controversial 1992 book Diana: Her True Story by Andrew Morton. From her tumultuous upbringing to her even more tumultuous marriage to Prince Charles, nothing seemed to be off-limits; Diana also touched on her complicated relationship with the press and paparazzi, something that would ultimately come into question after she was killed in a car accident in 1997 while being chased by photographers.
