Those corpses? Were they bumping uglies? Because from where we were sitting it sure looked like it.

I've only worked in one morgue and one crime lab but they both had excellent ventilation.

Leroy Gibbs continues to become a fully functioning human being. My wife seems to think that he's looking a bit frail. I think that he might have been smoking marihuana.

Who would name their girl Polly Parrot?

Warning: Spoilers
A good season premiere was followed by your typical, formulaic NCIS. Whenever there is a tragedy like a shooting or a near-death experience this show goes through the exact same thing: the characters sulk and mope for a little bit until they realize everything is going to be okay.

I am curious where they head with Bishop and Torres. I know a lot of people would hate the idea of them being DiNozza/Ziva version 2, but I think it might be what NCIS needs right now.

Enough for me

I put up with it for a while after Dinozzo left, but it is complete nonsense now and after 14 faithful years I am going to call it a day.

None of the characters are engaging any more, Gibbs is done as a character. Trying to redirect him with the psychiatrist just ignores 14 years of character development in a desperate lunge to make him meaningful.

Ellie and Torres are just filler, McGee and Palmer both have potential for an arc as a father but McGee is being sidelined the way that Dinozzo was for the last couple of Seasons before Michael Weatherly left and Palmer rarely gets the screen time he deserves.

Another okay entry, though still flawed.

Warning: Spoilers
As I already have said, "NCIS" has been one of my favorite shows for many years and still is, but after Ziva and especially Tony left, the show hasn't been the same. The 14th season was very disappointing, but the 15th series started off fine. "Twofer" is not as good as "House Divided", though not a bad episode at all.

This episode does suffer from quite a few problems, though let's start with positives first:

. The story of "Twofer" is at times compelling, there are some dramatic moments and plot points that work and are well done.

. The acting and humor are usually good, especially liked the subplot about Tim and Gibbs trying to recover from their torturing experience, Ellie being a boss of the team was also nice touch, which felt like an appropriate way to handle these characters.

Now is the problems' time.

. The story can come of quite average at times with a plot of marine officer found dead in a casket he should not be in that feels used and not having the most interesting way of telling its story.

. Also, the subplot of Tim and Gibbs talking about them getting tortured is interesting, but does take over too many things at times with its dramatic themes.

. Ellie Bishop as the boss of the team is a good idea, which is unfortunately underdeveloped. Absolutely agree with Mason Henderson ( a youtuber, who also talks about NCIS) that: why Ellie couldn't have been the boss for more episodes in this season?

. The solution of "Twofer" as well left me cold with its too ambivalent for its own good type way and which does not match with the rest of this episode.

Overall, okay,but very flawed episode.

this series ran its course at 10 years

The writers keep inventing new stories that aren't plausible and having them directed by james whitmore junior who is completely worthless and clueless ...look at his record, 45 ncis, another 30 for ncis new orleans and los angeles ... just a pitiful track record ..audra lindley must be turning over in her grave ... get rid valderrama and soldier on.
