Travelers: Season two starts out with a flashback with the very first traveler played by Enciro Colantoni who was supposed to have died in the towers but ended up breaking all the protocols. Season 2 answers who and why the team was kidnapped and questioned. The team works thru their personal dilemmas and in a way answers how Covid was exposed to the world. This season's episodes reminded me of the Stargate series as Amanda Tapping had a few episodes and she directed a few episodes herself. By the end, the travelers were exposed to the world and they end up being considered terrorists. Overall it was a good season but the ending was confusing. Let's see where the third season takes the team.

Ignore The Low Scores

The threads of Season 2 draw together and the madness of 001 manifests. Oops, bit of a mild spoiler there, sorry. Should James Cameron, Ridley Scott and Stephen King, backed up by George RR Martin condemned this as a mess and confusing, then time to pay a bit of attention to their opinions, not those who clearly know little about creating shows in such an arena.
I enjoyed this and am looking forward to the next season.

Great drama, could add some more action

Warning: Spoilers
I have to say I was surprised at the reviews for this episode and can agree that they wasn't that much action in the episode . However this episode did wrap up some loose ends and finally revealed the travelers to the public which was awesome and well timed. This episode had great development for the main and supporting characters as we got an insight in what the future was like for the travelers. The supporting characters also got development as they were used as a key plot device in this episode. The ending to Vincent's character however was very rushed and the ending scene was a bit , yeah, strange. But other than that I thought the finale had great drama and tension and cannot wait until series 3.
hopefully there is a season 3 and perhaps 4 and 5

Warning: Spoilers
After binge watching season 2, I can see scope for at least 3 more seasons. Remember it's all about time travel, so what happened in this season could be wiped and reset! Or if the writers are inventive enough, they could continue with the team or teams being caught and their plight. As for Ingram and Simon and the Doctor (amanda tapping), this could lead anywhere. Hopefully maclaren will return or he could be locked away or in a coma (will and grace commitments) and or be returned either as himself or another. Quite a few actors from continuum in this series, but I loved that show too any chance or a sequeal or crossover there?
LOVED the series, hating the ending to Season 2

Warning: Spoilers
Concur with other reviewers: this ending of this series was very badly written. It was easily one of my favourite TV shows of all time and I loved Series 1 dearly, but seriously - why give the villain so much latitude to hurt and maim all the characters we love, and then get away with it at the end??? That had to be one of the worst plot lines I've ever seen or read. It left me angry and disappointed. I sure hope they clear this up big time in series 3 - assuming there is one.
Ridiculous episode
jodi-4452830 December 2018
I've been watching this show, and for the most part, it's been enjoyable. But this episode was absolutely ridiculous.
I could predict the plot, if you can call the writing a plot.
There are just some holes in this series and they are getting more glaring.
There is no way five people (the loved pones) would believe the prospect of time travelers. And it just seems like if the travelers were from the future and more advanced than present humans, wouldn't they be smarter than to fall for predictable ploys that are being used by characters like Vincent?
Terrible Finale
TK321 February 2018
This was an absolute travesty of a finale. I expected so much more. There is a line between tension and just poor plotting. Note to writers: just because you mistreat the main characters, does not mean you are writing good drama. This left me wanting to toss the show away. I will watch the next season - after I check out the synopses of the first few episodes to see if the plotting gets better.
COMPLETELY lost the plot

One step ahead
kingsx_6427 May 2020
In the little summery prior to the episode it says 'Vincent stays one step ahead of the team'. Um no. Vincent is 1,000 steps ahead of the team. The team's ideas on how to catch him seem like they originated from a group of 4yr olds. I'm no expert, but even I rolled my eyes every time a team member suggested a course of action.
And then, when the group is reunited for the first time after a scary abduction, with no questions, and after hearing about time travel, what does MacLaren's wife do? Right, she walks up to him and slaps him. Yea, cause after hearing about time travel, that would be everyone's first reaction. smh...
On a side note. The character of Carly needs a 'reset'. She just might be one of the most unlikable 'good guys' I've ever seen.
Hell, I'm rooting for her to lose custody so the kid can get away from her psycho nutjob of a mother.
What a waste of a watchable show

Warning: Spoilers
I was happy to put up with all the problems which come with trying to write a story around time travel, especially one featuring an AI way smarter than any human (because how can anyone write something like that, you'd need to be as smart as the AI to be able to get what it does right). But none of that mattered because the human element to the stories was what made the show worth watching. However, with the arrival of traveller 5692 thirty eight minutes in there is no way to "undo" the damage that this episode has done to the characters so I won't bother watching season 3 (assuming they bother to make one).
This was one of the shows on Netflix which I was prepared to recommend to others, but not any more. Shame.
The end of the episode got me confused as to what happens next
pauloelias7 January 2018
I am not going to write spoilers. After following the two seasons I was disappointed at the end of this episode, which by the way, closes up the second season, when nothing is certain as to what is going to happens next, another season's follow-up perhaps.
The problem is that it let me down completely, for the simple reason that I was expecting a solution to the plot and there was none.
Nice series though, it gets away from the usual crap about time travelling stories.
