This film marks the 3rd collaberation of Brian Dorton and Dixie Gers.
All the church scenes were shot in one 19 hour day. The church was nearly 200 years old and no longer had heat or air. Actors and crew endued 100 + degree August heat.
The film took two years to complete from script to final cut. This was mainly due to Covid 19 but there were other obstacles such as cast injuries (not onset) and recasting.
Dixie Gers was originally cast as Barbara but wasn't able to commit to a larger role at the time. She later settled into the supporting role of church member Francis. Newcomer Sondra Carver was cast as Barbara.
Actress Khris Scarleto shot for about 6 days playing Barbara. Due to creative differences with the director, all the footage was scrapped and production started over one month later with Sondra Carver in the role.
