"I feel different."

Warning: Spoilers
I ran across this story under an anthology series titled "Tales from the Stranger Side", but I couldn't find that series here on IMDb. I found 'Skin Deep' by searching on writer Harry Chadwick and see that it was released in 2017, even though the anthology currently running on Tubi TV states a 2022 start date. Kind of curious.

Anyway, the story is about a married woman who obsesses over her looks, presumably to remain attractive to her husband who seems distant from the marriage. When Millie (Helen Kennedy) sees an ad for 'Miracle Cream', she sends for it and begins using the product to unpredictable results. Not only does it make her appear younger, but virtually changes her looks with each application, until by the seventh try she takes on the appearance of a teenager. At first, her husband (Tom Rooke) delights in his newly attractive spouse, but with each transformation becomes more hesitant and confused by Millie's appearance. Even though she becomes more and more beautiful, he no longer feels connected to the woman he married. Until finally, Millie undertakes a final change and peels off her latest face to revert back to her original self. The ending leaves both partners incredulous even as both seem to agonize over their choices to wish things back to normal.
