Hulu has finally arrived on Nintendo Switch, but Nintendo didn't announce it in the usual Nintendo way.
There was no Nintendo Direct. No press release. Not even a Hulu-themed amiibo to announce the release of Nintendo Switch's first streaming service in the Us, Hulu! However, if you hop into the Nintendo Shop app on your Switch, the familiar green hue of Hulu will be there, slapped with a big New sign on it.
Finally, all your favorite shows on Hulu are available on your mobile console to enjoy wherever you like! With this being such an auspicious occasion, why wouldn't Nintendo or Hulu want to announce this in their usual flare?
While we can't speculate, we can look to the words of Nintendo of America's COO Reggie Fils-Aime when he was asked about streaming services in March, around the time the Switch came out.
