There are very interesting dynamics in this episode with different people playing against each other with different objectives. The scenes inside the house of Joe's Tinder date were all really done with tons of tension, but there even a surprising amount of humor from the reality of the awful situation they're both in.

A Good Patriot
Prismark1031 July 2020
After the breathless action of the first two episodes. This one has its quieter moments and it also introduces a new character.
There are the references to the plague while one of the assassins goes to Riyadh.
Nathan Fowler shows his softer side as he spends time with his daughter and tells her that he will keep her safe.
Bob Partridge is shut out from the task force investigating the massacre but he has placed a potential ally inside.
As for Joe, he is holed up with his earlier date Kathy Hale who disbelieves his story.
A Good Patriot goes for character development. Without the high octane action though the writing is not good enough to keep the episode interesting. Despite the best efforts of Hurt and Sorvino.

Describing the CIA as an incompetent lame organization with total lack of professionalism

Really? If this is really the level of CIA competence then the US is in big trouble. This seems to be just stupid writing in order to create a sympathetic fugitive. Otherwise acting and directing quite OK, but the story is just forced an unrealistic.
