It's hard to believe that Weird Al Yankovic's Eat It is 40 years old, wow, four decades ago that Weird Al's song became almost as (if not more) famous than Michael Jackson's Beat It. Anyway, the lyrics are incredibly clever, although the reference to "kids are starving to Japan" seemed a bit perplexing considering that in 1984 Japan was a very modern first world nation with hardly starving kids, but I guess some other Asian/African (if you know what I mean) didn't quite rhyme I guess so you know what I mean I guess.
Anyway, definitely Eat It lives on and the beat lives on thanks to Weird Al and his genius.
