Another pretty mediocre Sheeran work

Warning: Spoilers
"Thinking Out Loud" is a 2014 song by English recording artist Ed Sheeran and a pretty successful one in fact. These five minutes we got here are the music video for said song, in which we see Sheeran himself in the middle of it being shown how to dance (while strangely being an unrealistically quick learner) by a starlet from So You Think You Can Dance. Bad enough already that this show is promoted here, but there is also nothing memorable in here except Brittany Cherry's looks. Sheeran in my opinion is a very mediocre and limited musician, who profits a lot from being at the right place at the right time embodying that message that even without great looks you can live the great dream that our media has been showing down our throats for a long time now with the majority willfully swallowing this extremely unrealistic message. Problem is that Sheeran lives exactly from this premise that got him to sell millions of records in recent years and not from actual talent. His successes are a prime example of why the mainstream global music industry is in such a bad state at this point. And he is far from the worst actually, which makes it even sadder. As for this music video, I think there is no need to check it out really. The chorus is kinda catchy at times, but it really is enough to listen to the record I would say. So from a movie perspective as here we are on the Internet MOVIE Database, I give this one a thumbs-down. Not recommended and I'm glad it is this short.
