I really like Chicago Justice. I tend to like most courtroom drama and this show combines that with my appreciation for police procedural as well. But this episode was badly written and directed.
The bottom line is Banks and Kim were playing vigilantes. That was the case against them but the word was never spoken. The jury's decision wasn't what would happen in real life. The whole story fell apart in the courtroom. Too bad if the cop is highly decorated. He took it on himself to kill bad guys. That isn't the way this country works and he should have been punished for his crime.
What a let-down.
