When Pride is telling Bonnie to get into the ventilation shaft, the grate covering the ventilation shaft is moved away. During the conversation with Bonnie, we see Pride remove this grate even though is was removed in the first shot.
Sebastian is shown committing numerous infractions during training- such as failure to climb the rope, then arguing with the instructor, and continuing to use his phone. Finally a significant tactical error when he stopped to answer his phone during a room clearing exercise resulted in the deaths of his team. He would have been washed out of the training program due to all of the above as he is clearly unqualified for field work.
Sebastian's FLETC training is being held in Georgia, but the rope climbing challenge uses the NAVY water tower which is a frequent backdrop of New Orleans location shots.
Pride is supposed to be a Special Agent in Charge with years of field experience. He commits a rookie mistake when he questions a suspect that has used a torch to kill a sailor. Instead of ordering the suspect to turn off the torch while a safe distance away, he instead challenges him within range of the torch and is burned, resulting in the loss of his weapon. A seasoned agent would not make this critical error.
LaSalle and Gregorio discuss getting help to Pride once they learn there are multiple suspects on the rig. The Coast Guard cutter is said to be 3-4 hours away, so instead of utilizing any number of military (Coast Guard or Navy) or law enforcement (Jefferson Parrish or Louisiana State Police) helicopters that would be available, they instead are relying upon the company to transport them to the rig.
Pride loses his gun and the worker ends up firing it 6 times at Pride and the girl. Pride, who was clearly counting the rounds fired, tells her there are 11 rounds left in the magazine. The NCIS uses the Sig Sauer P228 40 caliber handgun, which has a capacity of 13 rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. Accordingly, the gun had only 8 rounds left, not 11.
