Of Gods and Men

Warning: Spoilers
Now the show is in a different level as the case against the four involved cops truly begins. They handled the murder and the fallout well, but now that it is about to become Law and Order: Jersey City, let us hope the quality remains just as strong.

I am a big fan of Regina King and this was her best episode yet. Hopefully that character gets even more time to shine with powerful scenes moving forward.

Another solid episode

This show has great consistency, good character development and while the story progression is a bit slow, it's so good.

The Blue Stangulation

This is an interesting episode because it asks for courage from its characters. For the first time the four cops are facing external pressure, where in the past it was coming from among them. They have become aware of the forces at work and can now begin to face them. The boy's mother is the loose cannon now and she isn't suspected by them. Of course, our two heroes are very visible, made so even more in the last minutes. The young girl who is the key witness ranks high on the stupidity scale. Then there is the politician who has decided that accusing the police would be bad for his campaign (eventually for governor). There is danger all around as we go into the second half of this series.

Episode Five - Sobre Deus e Homens

Obviously the police would defend themselves and think they are puritans.

Brenton's father is extremely annoying with his religious fanaticism, it's practically impossible for me to side with him and not Brenton's mother.

KJ is improving but I don't know when she will relapse and end this case.

Fish is the one trying the most to do something, even though he doesn't have much.

Brenton's father is extremely annoying with his religious fanaticism, it's practically impossible for me to side with him and not Brenton's mother.

Awesome

Warning: Spoilers
Continuing my marathon and it was a great episode that flowed super well. I'm tired of praying to a god who prefers to listen to a criminal than a victim's mother, an epic phrase. As I hate religious fanatics, I am religious but fanaticism in any aspect of society is harmful both to the individual and to society itself. Brenton's father's grief of denial is unbearable but I'm trying to understand. It's incredible how in the previous episode it seemed like it was going to resolve with Nadine revealing it and Brenton's mother recognizing the police officer but in this episode Nadine already refused to help and so did Brenton's mother. This episode went around in circles and came back to nothing. The most that happened was the media announcing that they are suspecting the police and showing how Jablonski's wife is as cold as the north. Episode five watched on March 13, 2024.
