America Ferrera (Amy) directs Mateo's Last Day, and it's America's directing debut. The opening scene was quite hilarious for sure, with Beneath My Wings the soundtrack of Mateo's own farewell video which was hilarious for sure.
But Mateo's dark secret comes out, and his undocumented migration status means he cannot apply for a transfer to a more prestigious Cloud Nine store. But also he has to reluctantly break off his relationship with Jeff, which may be a source of schadenfreude for those who opposed to such relationships if you know what I mean.
