I've seen this animated episode several times considerably one of my favourites, yet there's many errors and plot holes.
I much prefer it than he buys a new television or the new bed (both of which weren't seen in later episodes).
Favourite scene was with the escalator he accelerated whilst racing the woman in lift to the sixth floor with sofa. Somehow, he managed to turn the number 6 upsidedown to fool the woman and the shot of the people who fell top of the escalator disappeared.
After he got a new sofa, how he got the rest of the furniture he tried to sell away - only for garbage truck take them away.
Quite hilarious ending when he realised the TV remote control is left under cushion seats of the old sofa, and after returning to the antique shop he sees the sofa driven away by the Regal Reliant (blue three-wheeler) and chases after it unknown what happens then, and the antique shop owner has remote control on sale for ten pence.
